I love how these two images got put together. They are both from different angles but it makes you think that the camera was under water/ice and you are looking up.
This is one of Jeremy Cowart's blurred photos that I like. She's more blurred then he is but that's what makes it interesting. You can look at this image in two ways. You can see it as creepy, like the ghosts in haunted movies, or you can see it as a couple whose lives are moving too fast.
This is more of a fun image. The subject looks really small, like tiny figures laying on the ground. But what you don't know is that it has been photo shopped to seem that way. It gives the idea that sometimes we can feel really small in this world, but you've got to make feeling small, fun.
Portrait Mimic: Jeremy Cowart
Jeremy is an artist. That’s what he started out to be. He fell in love with the creative process, and began getting into photography only after taking pictures for his art. He then realized photography was his true passion. By becoming a photographer he earned a lot of respect form artists, other photographers, celebrities, etc. Jeremy has taken many photographs of many celebrities and the community, it makes his life interesting. There’s always something going on.
His camera makes an impact in this life. That’s Jeremy Cowart’s goal when taking photographs. Knowing the value a photograph can have in someone’s life has helped him find programs to help others. All of his pictures reminds him of that day or the meaning of it, one only he will know. He becomes close with all of his subjects and makes a connection with them. I think that’s what makes him such a great photographer.
What it is that inspires me about his work is how he captures and edits them. Some of his photographs can mess with your eye. Even though you may be admiring the famous celebrity, at the same time you have to look at it and think how he was able to capture such an interesting image. It makes you look at them in a different way. Another thing that captures my attention is a blurred motion. It’s almost as if they are moving faster than time. Every movement and every thought is in full speed. It gives a different emotion.
